A Broadway World Award Nominee, Hailé is a stage trained actor and an active member of the award-winning GGC Players Repertory Company. He has starred in award-winning Shakespeare productions as Enobarbus, the Duke of Ephesus & Caliban under the direction of two-time NAACP Award-Winner and Broadway World Award Nominee Gloria Gifford. He has also played the lead role of Yank, in British director & Laurence Olivier Award Winner Steven Berkhoff's critically acclaimed production of Eugene O'Neill's The Hairy Ape and also starred as Ralph D in an award-winning production of the Motherfu**er with the Hat. Hailé was born on the Southside of Chicago. He comes from an armed forces family, and has lived in various cities on military bases. "Some of my fondest memories as a kid were climbing into those combat vehicles, helicopters, planes, exploring the decks of ships, running the obstacle courses, hanging out in barracks and attending the air shows." His home away from home is Austin, TX. His acting journey began there, where he did a few short films, voice-overs and hosted his own weekly radio show while earning his double business & finance degrees at the historically black college, Huston-Tillotson University, where he also served as President and Vice-President of the campus chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. After relocating to Los Angeles and while pursuing his interest in a career as a CHP Officer, he decided to commit solely to acting and began studying with Gloria Gifford. He has also worked with executive TV producer/writer Sy Rosen and originated roles in comedy legends Joe Bologna & Renee Taylor's West Coast premiere of "Love Always." Hailé also trains with award-winning fight choreographer Brian Danner of Sword Fights, Inc. Sports & adventure have always been a part of his life. Growing up he had a passion for sports. Soccer was his first love. However, he also played baseball, basketball, football, ran track, BMX and taught himself, how to swim, play tennis, racquetball, golf and roller skate. He also loved riding ATVs, hunting in the woods & fishing in the bayous during the summer in Louisiana with his uncle "Top Cat" and riding his brother's horses. These days he loves roller-coasters ("the bigger the better"), has gone skydiving, the indoor gun-range and indoor cart racing. "I would love to someday do the Pro-Am racing circuit like Steve McQueen and Paul Newman. Now that would be a dream come true !"
