Born in April 9, 1996 in Mons, Belgium, Pauline Burlet started taking drama lessons at the age of five. She was discovered by Olivier Dahan at the age of nine, who chose her to be the young Édith Piaf in his film La Vie En Rose (2007), playing the young version of Marion Cotillard's character. With her role in Dead Man Talking (2012) by Patrick Ridremont, she was nominated for a Magritte Award in Belgium for Most Promising Actress. In 2013, she starred in Asghar Farhadi's The Past (2013), playing Lucie, the teenage and rebel daughter of Bérénice Bejo's character. For her role in this film, Pauline won a Magritte Award for Most Promising Actress in 2014. In 2014, she played Lili Franchet, the lead of the mini-series Résistance (2014) in France.
