Alejandro Marcos born on November 10th, 1968, is a Mexican film director and screenwriter. Born in Veracruz moved to Mexico city being a child and based in Madrid, Spain. Since the early years, Marcos developed a keen interest in business and creativity. He founded a full-service advertising agency in Mexico and began to produce and direct TV commercials for several clients. The love spark for film burst there. Marcos developed a special interest to write his own screenplays. Marcos had written several feature film scripts: "Quantum" stands out, a district attorney suspects that a millionaire club is defrauding its members and forcing them to commit suicide. He finds out that it is a clan of souls who remember their past lives and he faces the opportunity to discover the origin of his existence. Marcos is developing his first feature film "ToGetThere" a romantic comedy about a young artist in search of true love who is tired of having depressing dates. When she has lost all hope, his soul unexpectedly jumps from one body to another and desperately struggles to return to it. The story evolves in a journey of self-discovery to finally understand self-love. Marcos has directed several short films including "Introspectif" starring Benicio del Toro, Victoria Abril, Imanol Arias, Jorge Perugorría for the Gibara Film Festival in Cuba. "La Doña" starring Marta Canalda and Luis Mottola, "The Weeding Master" with Rafael Rojas and the series of 4 short films "Welcome to Life" starring William Miller, Carlos Olalla, and Paola Bontempi, among others.
