Vikram Razdan

Son of the noted journalist and film publicist K. Razdan, who was amongst the breed of original publicists of the cinema industry., who promoted movies made by stalwarts from Guru Dutt, Manoj Kumar, G.P.Sippy, AVM, Devar Films, Kamal Haasan, T-Series and many more till the mid-nineties. It was his PR skills which christened Hema Malini as Dream Girl and Rajesh Khanna as Superstar, in their introductory campaigns. Vikram Razdan started off by being a lead actor in films like Meena Bazar (1991) & Baarish (1993), following which, his trysts with media began by producing content for cable networks in New York, followed by television shows in India like the second edition of Rajani, Tehkikaat, Mudh Mudh Ke Na Dekh, Ajooba, Let Your Hair Down, Prarthna, Suron Ke Rang Colours Ke Sang & many others for Doordarshan, Star Plus, Colours & Sony Television. He had aligned with the stalwart Subhash Ghai and was associate producer to his television shows like Chitrahaar & Metro Club (1995) telecast on Doordarshan & BSA Star Ki Pasand telecast on Sony Entertainment Television. He was Executive Producer on Yeh Teraa Ghar Yeh Meraa Ghar directed by S. Priyadarshan, Bullet Ek Dhamaka distributed by 20 TH Century Fox and Prem Ka Game, starring Salman Khan in a 24 minute guest appearance in the role of sutradhaar (narrator) of the comic caper featuring Arbaaz Khan, Tara Sharma, Johnny Lever, Rakesh Bedi & Malaika Arora in a special appearance song. His association with one of the top filmmakers in Bollywood Sajid Nadiadwala, spans many years, with him being Creative Consultant and Line Producer of Kambakkht Ishq (2009), Business Development for Houseful-1 & 2 (2010-2012), Supervising Producer for Houseful-3 (2016), Creative Consultant for Houseful-4 (2019), Supervising Producer for Kick (2014), Heropanti (2014), Baaghi 1 (2016), Baaghi 2 (2018) & Baaghi 3 (2020). As acknowledged by Sajid Nadiadwala at a press conference in 2018, It was Vikram Razdan who introduced Tiger Shroff to him and initiated his first film. Vikram Razdan is a Director in Brilliant Wellness Pvt. Ltd. for which he is producing fitness shows since 2015, which have been broadcast and streamed on Tata Sky, Dish TV, Videocon D2H, Disney + Hotstar, Sony Liv, Joi, Yupp TV, NDTV Hop, Amazon Fire TV and Vodafone. The 30 minute short film LIFE IS SHORT, which he has written and directed, starring Tanishaa Mukerji & Liliput, won the Best Short Film Award at the New Jersey Short Film Festival in October 2019. Vikram Razdan has written, produced and directed the eye-opening web series, I HATE TEARS, that empowers women featuring Tanishaa Mukerji as the presenter.
