Born February 6, 1981 in Memphis, TN to a large Southern family, Tyler grew up singing in church and performing in local plays, such as the role of Tiny Tim in "A Christmas Carol". He would also go on to star in a local playhouse rendition of, "Oliver!" playing the title role. Tyler began acting in films in 1995 at 14 years old. His first film would be a graduate film titled, "Crosstown". From there, he went on to do numerous shorts and graduate films for the University of Memphis. Since 1995, he's completed 13 films ranging from shorts, to indie features. Tyler moved to Los Angeles in June of 2006. He has studied acting with coach Molli Benson, and has completed several shorts and is featured in the John C. Reilly movie, Walk Hard (2008), his first big studio feature. He next appeared as a ghost of a Civil War solider in the David Zucker comedy, "An American Carol". He also appeared in a 3 minute short for the, now canceled, Steven Spielberg produced reality show, "On the Lot" which aired on Fox.
