A railroad worker's son from Appalachia, Va., the Nashville producer has made film documentaries on clogging, banjo players and moonshiners. Cornett once served as manager for Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Lucinda Williams, who remains a close friend, and he has packaged concerts for other Southern roots musicians including Otha Turner, Jessie Mae Hemphill and T-Model Ford. He also performed on and helped produce the Grammy-winning soundtrack for the movie O Brother, Where Art Thou?, which fostered a revival in bluegrass, roots and folk music. He is the co-creator of "Mike Judge Presents: Tales From the Tour Bus," "The Last Ride." Dub is currently in production on "Bill Murray and Brian Doyle-Murray's Extra Innings" show page and an Untitled project about Charlie Pride.
