Uri Garcia

Uri studied audiovisual communication at Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona. Uri is an eclectic filmmaker, director and producer who is equally at home in fiction, commercials, live action, tv shows, music videos or documentaries. He has directed the tv shows Batalla monumental, Pròxima estació and Joc de Cartes (winner of an Ondas Award in 2022). He has directed five seasons of the popular tv show Crackòvia, the live tv show Boqueria 357 and the cooking show La Cuina de l'Isma. He also produced the docuseries like Casal Rock, El Paisatge Favorit de Catalunya, , El meu avi, Noms and Benidorm for Cuatro TV. As a documentary director he has woek in Tomás Alcoverro - entre l'Orient i l'Occident, La Ciutat de la Justicia, Z-102 Historia de un espejismo, 7 deserts and El 23-F desde dentro, winner of an Ondas Award in 2001. He has helmed commercials for clients including Audi, Bacardi, San Miguel and Bimbo. He has developed the storytelling of theme parks, immersives spaces, virtual reality experiences and transmedia projects. As a professor: * Professor of filmmaking and Direction II. Television.
