A native New Yorker, Andrew Burlinson graduated with honors from Harvard with a degree in English and American Literature. Andrew then studied acting in New York and quickly won a coveted spot as a Blue Man in the world famous Blue Man Group. He performed for thousands of theater goers in New York, Boston, Chicago and Brazil over the course of six years. Andrew's professional acting career spans over twenty years. He has appeared in everything from indie short films to Oscar nominated feature films, web series to Emmy nominated network TV series, black box theater to stadium half-time shows, live late night TV to Super Bowl commercials... He's "that guy" from "that thing" you saw. Independently, Andrew co-wrote, co-produced and co-starred in the new media series Grip and Electric featuring Henry Thomas (E.T., The Haunting of Bly Manor) and Lin Shaye (the Insidious film series). Recommended by The New York Times and Tubefilter (founders of the Streamy Awards), Grip and Electric garnered Andrew an Indie Series Award for Best Writing for a Comedy Series. Andrew also wrote and directed several short comedies which have won numerous awards in film festivals worldwide. Andrew has written articles that have appeared on Romper and Greatist and is constantly developing a slate of series, features, children's books and novels. In a former life, Andrew was a singer-songwriter who played gigs at numerous venues in New York, Chicago and Los Angeles. Andrew has also appeared in what we can call "a lot" of national commercials including highly visible spots for Geico, Hyundai, TD Ameritrade, Volkswagen, Tamiflu, Verizon Fios, Comcast, Avis, Vizio, Ford and AT&T among many others.
