Tracy Walsh is an actress and writer. Her short film she wrote and was the solo actor in - Technology Hurts - filmed during COVID, has been selected to show at the Los Angeles International Film Festival 2020. Tracy features in the series Mystery Exposed (2020), is the hero of the Terry White/Qantas Frequent Flyers national television commercial (2019) and got her first speaking role on The New Adventures of Skippy (1992). Tracy has spent many years in front of the camera as a television news reporter for the major city and regional networks and news anchor for CBA TV. She worked for Network Ten as a Segment Producer for children's television show: Totally Wild. Tracy trained at the University of Queensland, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in journalism, anthropology and drama. She continues to train with highly regarded acting coaches and casting directors . She is in the process of writing a feature film and a comedy series and attends scene classes. Tracy was a featured extra in the infamous NSW Rugby League TVC with Tina Turner singing "What You Get is What You See'. At 20 years of age, Tracy won the Queensland Rose of Tralee title, singing her way to the international competition in Ireland. She was one of 40 women of Irish heritage competing in the televised quest. Tracy lived in London for a decade from 2000, working for corporate head offices and government on IT projects, simplifying complex changes into key messages, speeches and training materials. Fun fact: Tracy worked for the Chief Medical Officer of England following the SARS outbreak writing research reports on his behalf.
