Gastón Andrade

He studied Screenwriting and Directing at CUEC, UNAM. He is known for the multi-awarded short films THE MURMURS (2012), THE TREE (2012) and THE SILENCES (2014).His work has been awarded at international festivals such as IDFA, Documenta Madrid, BAFICI, Visions du Réel, the Guanajuato International Film Festival, FICM, FICUNAM, and Ambulante. He founded his production company La Oscuridad de la Nube, where he independently made the documentaries short film THE TREES HIDE THE FOREST (2016), EVERYTHIN REMAINS THE SAME (2017) and THE WEIGHT OF THE FALLEN (2018).
