Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Victor Hawks made his way out East after high school to Washington DC, where he attended The Catholic University of America for Musical Theatre. Directly from college, he wanted to tackle the big stage so he moved to New York City. In a short time he booked his first Broadway show, joining the original company of "Urinetown the Musical." From there he made Broadway his home for the next 10 years starring in shows like the Producers, playing the dream role of Jean Val Jean in "Les Miserables," and playing Stewpot in the Tony Award winning revival of "South Pacific" at Lincoln Center. Although Victor has a love for the stage, his true passion has always existed in writing TV and Film. During the Producer years, as he calls them, he started writing his first play, "Construction" (First draft 167 pages). Dozens of readings later, and a near brush with getting "Construction" produced on Broadway, he knew that the true audience for this piece was for the screen, so the play became a screenplay, and the rest is history. He met Angie Canuel, who was also in "The Producers" family, and the two of them worked tirelessly to get Construction to the big screen. A few months later Victor, Angie, and Malcolm filmed "Construction" back in it's original home of New York City. The three formed Vision Vehicle Productions. Under the umbrella of Vision Vehicle productions, Victor also wrote and produced "Pass the Light," and is writing and developing over 8 films and 12 TV pilots.
