Mark O'Rourke

Mark was born and raised near Clydebank (on the outskirts of Glasgow) where he was in regular trouble. From a young age he struggled with his homosexuality and his schools mates would tease and abuse him physically. It was always his dream to become a world famous ballet dancer but he knew his two left feet would never allow for this dream to be granted. Instead he opted to go down the traditional route of engineering. He spent many years hating his career choice until he spotted a casting session with a local film company. On the morning of his big casting opportunity he was reportedly sick with nerves (literally) and nearly didn't make it to the casting. The casting allowed him to get a small but significant role in Taggart that started his career. From this pinnacle of success he could only go on a downward spiral losing everything until leading him back (tail behind his legs)back to his original career of engineering where he supposedly still works.
