Jax grew up in a large family, the fourth of five kids in suburban Connecticut. He wrote, and bound his first book when he was only six. In eighth grade (14) he wrote, directed, and starred in three one act comedies for his middle school. During high school he attended the prestigious "Center for Creative Youth", at Wesleyan University in Middletown, CT, where he studied Creative Writing; and worked with PBS in Hartford, writing and acting, in a pilot for teens called "Off the Wall". After high school, Jax served in the US Coast Guard. He served as a sonar technician and along with time on both coasts, got to see much of Europe and the Caribbean. After the Coast Guard, Jax went on to become a successful stand-up comedian playing comedy clubs from coast to coast, and the Caribbean, always writing and performing his own material. Jax quit comedy to focus solely on writing again, and is now an award winning screenwriter. Jax has since established himself not only as a great screenwriter, but as a talented script doctor as well. After settling in greater Atlanta, GA Jax formed his own production company,The JAX Company Film Production Group LLC and has since continued to create as he likes to say: "Quality, character driven films..."
