Emmy Award winner Sherri Kauk is a Los Angeles-based cinematographer. She lensed the Hulu Feature Film "Sex Appeal" and the CBS series "The Inspectors", garnering her Emmy win for Lighting Direction. She shot the internationally-beloved feature film, LOEV, which was an official Selection at SXSW, Audience Award winner at Frameline and distributed by Netflix. The Hindu called LOEV one of the most visually innovative movies at SXSW. Indie Wire named it as one of the the most underrated films. Premiering early 2020 with over 32 million viewers, Season 3 of the Snapchat series "Endless," continues it rich visual palate with Sherri at the helm. Additionally, Sherri has demonstrated her talents as camera operator on shows like Fox's 'The Big Leap', Emmy nominated "Insecure (HBO), "The L Word: Generation Q" (Showtime), "The Chi" (Showtime) and the documentary feature and official Sundance selection "Akicita: The Battle of Standing Rock" for producer Heather Rae. In 2018, her article detailing the endurance necessary to shoot a weekly TV series was published in American Cinematographer Magazine. She is a sought after speaker at Canon's Live Learning events on cinematography, Shane Hurlbut's (ASC) Hurlbut Academy and The American Film Institute. Sherri is an alumna from the American Film Institute.
