Martin Gobbee

Martín was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, his parents immigrated when he was 3 yrs old. He grew up in CT for most of his childhood. After college, he moved to Chicago with friend Amy Poehler to study improvisation at ImprovOlympic (now iO Theater), and had the pleasure of learning from the masters that went on to form The Upright Citizens Brigade, and the one and only, Del Close. After a year of improv, Martín moved back to Boston to earn an MFA in Acting at Brandeis University, where he met and studied with his now wife and actor, Heather (Carnduff) Gobbée. They moved to Brooklyn, NY after graduating to pursue careers in the theater, tv, and film. After over two decades in NYC, they moved to northern CA's Bay Area, where they now reside. They are the proud parents of two children, Phoenix & Rue Gobbée.
