Juliana Zanville

Juliana has been acting, dancing and singing from the age of 3 were she has watched old classical movies from the 1930s and 40s, ballet, listing to old radio programs such as Jack Benny, etc. Her first theater production was at the age of 10 but even before that she was performing live shows, dancing and singing. She was an only child of a single mother who taught her initially to read, Juliana taught herself from there sometimes taking as many as 50 books from the library at a time. The family's financial situation did not deter her from dancing. She would practice were ever she could, rehearse monologues by herself for hours. Juliana turned to belly dancing at the age of 16 as a way out of poverty. After 3 months of class she started performing in Middle Eastern restaurants, clubs and private parties. She continued to support her family with the goal of one day returning to her true love, acting in film, TV and theater. On the journey to that goal he formed The Jewels of the Desert Dance Company were she directs, choreographs, performs, produces and trains all her talent in the multi-faceted styles. She has a vast knowledge of the customs, cultures and language of Arabic, Persian and the Israeli people. She designs shows and themed events. He also has started screenplay writing and her production company, Always Driven Productions. Music is a passion in her life; the styles she performs are Broadway, light classical, continental folk music. She has done several theater productions as well as live performances in New York, Vegas Europe, Canada as well as in Los Angeles at the Ford Amphitheater, the Kodak Theater and Universal City Walk. TV appearances in clued, "Starting Over" on NBC, Knee High P. I. On Comedy Central. Her last film was the independent film, "Stolen Moments of September with C. Thomas Howell.
