Bob Handegan began his quest to capture the hearts of audiences everywhere in 1980 when he started his career as a professional kick boxer. Bob trained proficiently in various fields of the martial arts and soon after his hard work, dedication and training paid off. He secured the title for the WKA Super Middle Weight Championship, which he held for the next two years. Bob appeared on pay-per view and made numerous appearances on ESPN. Appealing to his audiences with his remarkable sense of humor, undeniable charm and charisma he has, along the way created a fan base that would follow him throughout his entire career. Bob still has close ties with the martial arts community. He also enjoys doing fight choreography and stunt work whenever he can but after 18 years as a professional fighter he decided it was time for a change. Bobs humorous nature and flair for captivating audiences and entertaining his peers soon led him to pursue another one of his passions---comedy. His natural ability to brighten the worlds of those around him soon led him to win the Amateur Illinois Young Comedians Award two years in a row. Deciding to continue his love for entertaining he went in to audition for a part in an upcoming movie that was to be filmed in Illinois. With perseverance and dedication he was later cast as the leading man and star of the upcoming western Sand Prairie, making his first feature film debut as the tough and extremely sexy Marshall Luke Canfield. As the tag line for the movie says "It's gonna get hot in Texas" (And now we know why). Bob is currently (2007) in production of several other feature films and is working on a spec pilot for HBO. Be on the lookout for this charming Midwestern born powerhouse as he is sure to steal the hearts of audiences once again. He has found his niche and is well on his way to a bright and flourishing career.
