Born in Patchogue, New York, Michael studied TV and Film Production at Marist College. While there, he wrote and performed in the sketch/improv comedy troupe, wrote a weekly column for the newspaper, acted for the college TV station and hosted a weekly radio show. After college, Michael studied acting with Dena Levy, Stuart Burney, William Esper and John Dappolito. As an actor, Michael has acted in numerous independent films and commercials and has appeared on television in The Deuce and For Life. While honing his skills as an actor, Michael polished his prose as a writer in various literary arenas including; screenplays, teleplays, fiction and essays. A member of the Writer's Guild, he has written five pilots, twenty screenplays and two books. Also an accomplished filmmaker, Maybe Tomorrow was his directorial debut. Having written the script, he also co-produced and co-starred in the film. He has directed several short films since including Two Brothers in November.
