Brendan Croxon

Brendan is an experienced Sound Designer and Mixer working on local, national and International productions. He has over 15 years of experience in all aspects of audio post production including sound design, dialogue editing, Foley, ADR, location recording and re-recording mixing. Growing up in Perth, Brendan studied Sound Production at The West Australian Academy of Performing Arts and honed his skills in post production sound working at Hamdon Sound Studios. In 2007 Brendan relocated to Melbourne to begin working at Music and Effects, a Melbourne based audio post production facility. While at Music and Effects he worked on over 150 productions including feature films, documentaries, short films, TV series, TVC's and animation, before leaving in 2018 to begin as a freelance sound designer. Brendan also has extensive knowledge of Ambisonic spatial audio having worked in the format for over 10 years and in recent years he has applied this knowledge and experience to Virtual Reality and 360 videos. Brendan has developed a deep understanding of the technical and creative challenges of audio within VR to successfully complete various projects.
