Michael Akwesi Djaba

Michael Djaba is the founder of IFACTORYlive a production,distribution and talent management firm producing over 300 hours of content yearly and managing Time 100 most influential Omotola Jalade Ekeinde. BACKGROUND Michael is a multi talented creative who has directed, produced and executive produced Award winning international talent and programming across music, film, factual entertainment, promos, advertising and EPK's for labels. His background stems from producing and directing at ITV to executive producing and directing the international TV series and DVD World B Boy championship hosted by Hollywood actor LL Cool James. Whilst creating the global brand he brokered international distribution & licensing deals for the programme as well. He then self - financed a consultancy through which he represented a number of awards winning directors including Chase Johnston Lynch (Oscar®- nominated Speed for thespians). Michael's music video repertoire, which he directed through the consultancy includes sleek cinematic videos for Grammy nominated artists THE CLIPSE, G UNIT artists MOBB DEEP and John legend recording artist ESTELLE. Moving forward he set up and worked as head of programming at JFTV a youth entertainment satellite channel in the UK. His role encompassed acquisition of films with the conceptualisation and scheduling of entertainment programming whilst overseeing the 80+production team. He is responsible for brokering international acquisition deals with a number of companies including Paramount studios, Ventura, Momentum and 20th Century Fox beating off fierce competition to secure high profile programming such as number one rated US show The Boondocks. His TV background includes entertainment programmes DINNER DATES, NIGHTLIFE and NYLON for ITV.
