Pete Cashmore

Pete Cashmore was a journalist and battle rapper. He worked for The Guardian, The Observer, and The Sun, his local newspaper the Express and Star, the music magazine NME, the popular culture magazine VICE, along with the lads mags Loaded and Nuts. He had rap battles in leagues which include Don't Flop, Barmageddon, Rapped in Wire, Stand Tall, and Get Slated. He was also a champion of the ITV produced, Channel 4 quiz show Countdown (1982) in 1997, and was runner up in the champions of champions edition in 1998. He was a fan of Wolverhampton Wanderers football club.
