Mejia serves as co-founder and Executive Producer at The Vladar Company and Generation Iron Brands. Over the past 10 years, he has been responsible for developing an extensive content slate, producing and driving all content sales. Mejia oversees in-house productions, co-productions, acquisitions and manages the company's worldwide multimedia distribution needs. Mejia is responsible for producing the 2014 award winning film, "Generation Iron," alongside Director, Vlad Yudin and Jerome Gary (Pumping Iron). The film was narrated by Academy Award Nominee, Mickey Rourke and became the top 5 highest grossing doc at the box office in 2013. Since 2015, Mejia has produced many titles such as "Jeremy Scott The People's Designer" based on the iconic fashion designer, featuring Katy Perry; "The Hurt Business" with Jim Czarnecki (Bowling for Columbine, Fahrenheit 9/11), ft. Rhonda Rousey and Narrated by Kevin Costner. He then produced 'Generation Iron film installments, 'Ronnie Coleman The King', 'Calum von Moger Unbroken' and the 'Dorian Yates Mass Monster' life story biopic. He negotiates all domestic and foreign sales. He has Executive Produced the Mr. Olympia Show in Las Vegas and the Arnold Classic Broadcast. In 2021, Mejia executive produced the film "Canyon Del Muerto" starring Abigail Lawrie and Tom Felton. And most recently produced the bio-pic on "Kai Greene" alongside Matt Maxson (The Last Dance). Mejia is the co-founder of 'Generation Iron Brands,' a Manhattan based digital media content publisher, broadcaster and producer of Strength Sports, Wellness, Bodybuilding, Fitness, MMA, entertainment, news and original content reaching over 3 million readers monthly. The company has become a disruptive digital media company that runs a commerce driven business and network for direct to consumer brands. The company also owns many brands, operates several content platforms and publishing subsidiaries across Latin America and Europe. Prior to partnering with Vlad Yudin, Mejia spent over 6 years working on Wall Street in Finance with Lehman Brothers, Smith Barney and Fidelity Investments. During his 6 year tenure in Finance, he managed over $4 billion of Commercial Real Estate Holdings, the funding of warehouse lending lines of credit for Lehman Brothers and managed a portfolio of over 700 private and institutional accounts at Smith Barney. He serves as Treasurer and Board member at BronxNet TV.
