Born in Jasper, Indiana and raised in Pewee Valley, Kentucky, Kenny spent many years performing at the Little Colonel Playhouse. He caught the acting bug when he was 7 and his father was performing at a local community theatre in Dale, Indiana. After graduating from the University of Louisville with a planning degree in Geography - Urban and Regional Analysis, he moved to Jacksonville, Florida and soon got back into theatre with First Coast Theatre Arts and Theatre Jacksonville. He is represented by First Coast Talent Agency and does many industrial training videos, emcee events, films, and commercials. Kenny has appeared as lead actor in three award winning films. In the 2007 (My Imaginary Girlfriend) and 2008 (Chorophobia) 48-Hour Film Projects - Best Picture runner-up both times, then in 2009 (Sketchy), his film team won the Audience Choice award and Kenny received the Best Actor award. In 2010, Hot Rod Todd competed in the Jacksonville 48-Hour Film Project and Doublesided was made for Savannah's 48; both films were made by Art Institute - Team White Water. His most famous role so far was when he was cast as an absentee ballot military lawyer in HBO's award winning movie Recount.
