The experience of being in front of the cameras did not like him, and preferred to be behind them. He joined Televisa in 1981, in the advertising an promotion department, conducting campaigns for TV and Cable channels. He created the image for the first Music Video Channel in Mexico, there he experimented the creation of animation made entirely in video (NTSC).. He create (directed, drew and performed) the first animations entirely made with video equipment that are known in the Americas (Ampex VPR 1 inch recording with RCA video camera, because digital video did not exist at that time). Technique that later adapted VH1. He created, designed and directed the promotion campaign for channels 4, channel 5 and channel 9 of Televisa (aprox 100 spots for national TV in Mexico) mixing real image and different animation techniques, using the first Paint-Box, Harry (Quantell) Abekas and the first Ikegami EC35 in México. He has made commercial TV spots like the ones created for Sprite at the end of the 80's. Also filmed and directed many music videos, including the first digital Multylayer technique video in Latin America: "Volvamos a empezar" that was #1 MTV list in 1991. It began in the 90's producing and directing documentaries in Spain, making a television series called "Earth Color", 5 documentaries on artists and their origins, one hour each. He has worked in advertising agencies in Mexico, United States and Europe, winning some awards among them, an EFFIE with South Bell spots in the 90's among others. He also has made (written and directed) theater plays, short films like "Odia a la Gente" (I hate people) "Tradiciones"...etc with real actors, and others in animation (claymation and stop motion) like "El Precio del Silencio" or "Los Piratas de la Libertad". He later abandoned advertising and created the production company "Embrujo Films" with which he has premiered his first full-length documentary called "El Espejo del Arte" 96 min, 2013 / 2015. A harsh criticism of the contemporary art market. His second documentary feature is titled El Último Tlatoani (The Last Tlatoani) 86 min. 2019, the story of the remains of the last Aztec emperor. The third one, "La Frontera de los Sueños" 85 min. 2019 / 2020, tells us about the reasons that some people have to emigrate to other countries. It teaches us the pain and joy of migrants, failures, goals and dreams. Now he is filming his first fiction feature film "Grabado en la Memoria". In parallel to his career as a filmmaker, he has published two books, some press articles, and made several art photography exhibitions.
