Ryan Scharoun was born in Syracuse, New York into a family of doctors and lawyers. He grew up playing sports in Titusville, Florida, where his father worked for the space program. At Florida State University he majored in public relations and minored in theater after realizing his love for performing in an improv troupe with his college buddies. He relocated to Orlando, Florida to further his skills in improvisation at SAK Theatre, while studying TV and film acting at Art's Sake Studios. Since Ryan moved to Los Angeles, he has appeared in multiple commercials and television shows, most recently for Applebee's and in a recurring role on General Hospital. His breakthrough performance was the lead role in a faith-based movie called Ring the Bell.
