Kellyann Chippendale

Born in Kearny, New Jersey, Kellyann Chippendale, a middle child of three girls to Nancy and James, spent her childhood and young adult years on a soccer field growing up in 'Soccertown USA', earning her a Division I NCAA scholarship to St. John's University where she captained and earned a BIG East Championship. She played in England after graduation as a pioneer member of the first year of the United States Women's League. Utilizing her degrees in Reading and Education, while minoring in business, she taught emotionally disturbed and learning disabled children while getting her start in entertainment as a stand-up comedian at NYC's Gotham Comedy Club. Due to her nervousness in auditioning, deciding to start in stand-up conquered her fear and she began performing, producing and hosting her own comedy shows. Soon after, she began her debut in theater performing Off Broadway in Two-mur Humor: He's Malignant, She's Benign, playing 9 roles in a 90 minute, 2 person, 21 character dramedy that she produced and starred in at NYC International Fringe Festival. In an effort to help childhood cancer survivors pay their medical bills, she formed The Tumor Humor Fund, a national charity to inspire others to survive and thrive. Her most recent adventure was her first film directorial debut, which she co-wrote, produced and acted in called 'Getting Meisnered', a film commemorating Sanford Meisner's acting technique and unique perspective focusing on his process of and to pay tribute to the importance of how one great teacher can change your whole life. Being filmed at Playhouse West, Meisner's original West Coast home from The Neighborhood Playhouse, she studied the Meisner Technique, film and Improv. 'Getting Meisnered' was selected to open the Monaco International Film Festival in December 2015 and has since won six awards. She was commissioned to produce a documentary of her experience with The Monaco International Film Festival founders at the only non-violent film festival in the world and incorporated the compassion of her journey and filmmakers from around the world to proliferate peace and dream making come true. 'Meisnered.', is a compilation of her film festival experience and featuring the festival and other filmmakers making non-violent films. 'The Possibility Tour' she also has started with screenings and sharing the possibility of creating listening, inspiration and dialogue for the youth of the world. Living in Los Angeles, she also was Co-Creator and Executive Producer of ...And The Winners Are with television pioneer and film critic, David Sheehan, showing the impact of the stars of Hollywood and The Academy Awards. She preforms at The Comedy Store in Los Angeles and has since performed at The Laugh Factory and Harrah's Casino in Las Vegas as the Chippendale of Comedy.
