Felix Jerry Droz

Felix Jerry Droz was born in the great lake State. While his grandparents remained in L.A. both his parents moved from,,Los Angeles, California to Farmington Hills, Michigan shortly before he was born. He was raised by his Father who was a remodeling Contractor and Mother, has three sisters and no brothers . He left Michigan soon after being expelled during his last year of High School for not conforming to the school's rules and regulations . After being kicked out of School and while still a teenager he moved to Venice, California where he worked as a cook at a Taco stand and house painter . At 18 years of age moved in with a lady two years his senior in, Venice, California . Sometime later he moved nearby to, Santa Monica but Santa Monica was too big of a Town for him after mostly being raised in a farming community in the Mid West . Eventually he moved out and after bouncing around between, Venice, Santa Monica and Malibu he ended up in, Berkeley, California where he yet met a lady who attended the University of California at Berkeley . He moved into an apartment she had off , Telegraph Avenue " but, Berkeley wasn't his kind of place and it didn't take long before he ended back in & around, Santa Monica . He completed his last year of School by getting his general education diploma or G.E.D . then on a sunny day while making his way up to Big Sur, California he met a couple of students from the University of California at Santa Barbara who ended up giving him a lift and invited him to stay at their apartment in, Isla Vista after he returned . After visiting there he soon took a love of Santa Barbara County and moved up to, Isla Vista and lived both on, Camino Del Sur & Del Playa Street known for its heavy weekend parties which ran along and above the Ocean . While in, Isla Vista he attended college in Santa Barbara and worked as a house painter and in the Construction trades while going through School to make ends meet . After dropping out of College and with his love of the Ocean he joined the Navy and became an advanced electronics technician while stationed in, San Diego, California but didn't get far after he was found to be unadaptable to military life . Before being discharged he was to spend two days in the brig and after giving gratitude to the Navy still managed to get out with an honorable discharge . After leaving the Navy he moved back to Santa Barbara where he got a State realestate license and later a State Contractor's license . With the money he made doing loans, and working as a Contractor he bought numerous delapidated houses that he successfully flipped . To this day he remains living close - in to, Santa Barbara in a house with a view of the City, mountains and Valleys as both the owner of a, Santa Barbara Touring Company and Part time land Developer .
