Moisès Acevedo was born in the Bronx, NY, and raised in New Orleans. His multicultural upbringing played a vital role in the artist he is today. After attending an open call for a film and landing the role. Moisès made his big-screen debut in the Sundance Coming- to- Age story Don't Let Me Drown. Since then, he's appeared in numerous projects such as Orange Is The New Black, Daredevil, and Oscar- Nominated film Can You Ever Forgive Me. Following a decade working as an actor, he's made a prudent decision to take on roles and develop projects that speak to him and the underrepresented. As an artist, Moisès feels accountable for shedding light on issues and stories that society tends to neglect. Given the increased interest in diverse storytelling in Hollywood, he hopes that his work can be a part of the change that can commence a universal dialogue.
