Chris Holliday had an MBA from one of the top business schools in the country, a successful marketing career, and a newly acquired Masters in Education. It didn't make sense to become an actress in 2007. Sure, she'd staged shows in her best friend's basement as a kid, howled as the crying princess in her fifth grade play, hammed it up in a high school musical, and even done multiple roles in the grad school variety show. Didn't everyone? Yet, when she followed her heart and took the plunge, it did make sense. Within months of completing a four-week conservatory program at T. Schreiber Studio she auditioned for 6 student films and booked them all. She immediately booked several television commercials, including a spot for Optimum Cable. Her second audition ever resulted in the writers/producers creating a series regular character for her in the TV pilot presentation "Bottled Up." She's had lead and supporting roles in indie features and shorts, and scored a series regular role in a TV pilot presentation currently in production. Chris grew up the oldest of seven children in a Chicago suburb. She's lived in Indianapolis, Dallas, Austin, as well as Strasbourg, France and Dublin, Ireland. An education and growth junkie, she recently completed the two year training program at The William Esper Studio and is excited about all the possibilities in front of her, and grateful for all the experiences that have led to where she is now. She lives just outside New York City and has two children she's very proud of.
