Sonia Uribe is a journalist based in London. During her university days, Uribe interned for WOAI NBC News Channel, KENS-5 CBS News Channel, NBC London, and BBC News. At KENS-5, she rose through the organization becoming an entertainment reporter on their live morning show, Great Day SA, alongside Miss USA 1994 Lu Parker. Throughout her career Uribe has secured exclusive interviews with British politicians, including former MP George Galloway and Sir Edward Henry Garnier. She also obtained interviews from former British MI5 officers and whistle-blowers David Shayler and Annie Machon, and Welsh-American documentary-maker Jon Ronson. She's worked on a variety of documentaries, current affairs and lifestyle programming. Her work includes her own investigative documentary TV series "The Sonia Uribe Files" where she ventured off to extraordinary spots in an attempt to discover earth's greatest mysteries - interviewing scientists, leading researchers, and naturalists like Adrian Shine and self-styled Nessie hunter Steve Feltham. Sonia Uribe is an American of Colombian and European descent. She graduated from the University of the Incarnate Word with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism. She also earned a Master's in TV Journalism from the University of London. She speaks English and Spanish.
