Tammy Stackpoole is known for her work in Troubadours, The Chi and Chicago PD. She has performed in commercials, music videos, award winning plays and independent films. Stackpoole has been skating since she could walk and grew up as an award winning gymnast, dancer and choreographer, water skiing, riding BMX bikes, jet skis, and driving single engine power boats in her free time. Born and raised with four brothers & three sisters on the outskirts of Detroit, she left home at age 17. Completing her high school education with honors while enrolled in college acting courses and living on her own, she won performance scholarships to WMU and NYU Tisch School for the Arts. A former free-fly skydiver, trained under Rook Nelson, Stackpoole went on to learn natural building and architecture from Michael G. Smith in Northern California, trained in Qi Gong, Tai Chi and Kung Fu under Dr. Hu and 31st generation Shaolin Monks at KunYuShan Academy in Yantai, China, and briefly under Dr. Yang, Jwing Ming in Miranda, CA. She lived several years in high desert hermitage where her practices deepened. She dabbles in Partner Acrobatics, Aerial Dance, and continues to skate for transportation when conditions permit, works closely with Metta Theatre's Young Artists program and teaches Qi Gong, Yoga, Meditation and Inherent Alchemy throughout the world. Stackpoole can be seen in wide range of character roles from crush & spirit guide, Gloria, along side Tom Galassi of Blue Man Group ("Trubadours") to multiple offender & meth-head, Shelby Jarvek, along side Jon Seda ("Chicago PD").
