Luciano Palermi was born on May 17, 1966 in Pescara, Italy, from Romolo Palermi, a doctor, and Amalia De Luca, a teacher. His sister Valeria Palermi is a journalist. After completing cum laude his academic studies in Dentistry, Luciano moved to Los Angeles in 1991, to pursuit a music career as a singer. In 1993 Luciano became the host of the radio show 'Buona Domenica', on air every Sunday morning on KTYM 1460 AM for more than 10 years, while working as a radio correspondent from the US for some of the most important Italian radio networks, like Radio Rai, Radio Vaticana, Radio 24 and Radio Montecarlo. Broadcasting honed Luciano's skills in what was going to be his major career achievement: becoming a Voice Over actor. Luciano tackled all aspects of the V.O. business, from movie dubbing and audio-books, to commercial announcements, corporate videos and video games. Eventually he started also working on other aspects of dubbing and voice overs, like script translation and adaptation for lip-sync, casting and dubbing direction. He also worked as dialect coach with Antonio Banderas for the Italian dubbing of Puss in Boots (2011), and with Joe Bastianich for the Italian version of Master Chef (2014). Luciano's voice can be heard on Archer (2012), Medal of Honor: Airborne (2007), Cars Mater-National (2007), The Lizzy McGuire Movie (2003), Just Married (2003), Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo (2005) on, on several TV and radio ads and numerous movies dubbed for airlines. He also sung the track 'Hai capito' on What's New, Scooby-Doo (2003) From 2004 to 2012 Luciano has been the official voice of the TV channel E! Entertainment, Italy. Besides being the voice of the promos, Luciano worked for E! Entertainment also as live commentator for the Award shows and Red Carpets, like the Golden Globes, the Academy Awards, the BAFTA Awards and the Emmy Awards. Luciano also was the main writer and narrator of the candid camera show entitled 'Naked and Funny', which quickly became one of the most viewed show on E! Entertainment Italy during the five seasons the show was on. In more recent times, Luciano took part in student films and Indies, like 'Destiny Depot', by Nadir Gray, 'Unexpected Expectations', by Francesca Pizzorno, 'E Pluribus Unum', by Wangshu Zhao and 'It's Better In Italian', by Jordan Ledy. When not dubbing in a recording studio, or shooting on camera, Luciano enjoys singing for the band La Dolce Vita, performing Italian tunes from the 60's, or you may find him on the stage of rock festivals in Europe, as the front man of the band Unreal Terror.
