Alida Bevk

Alida Bevk is a professional actress based in Ljubljana, Slovenia. She was born into an artistic family, father Marjan Bevk theatre director, and Hungarian actress Valeria Kerekes. She is also the grand daughter of a famous Slovenian writer France Bevk. Alida attended the National academy for theatre and film and began her acting career mainly on stage. Her debut was in Shakespears Midsummers nights dream. For that role she won and a award as a best new coming actress. She did her MFA in speech and voice at her alma mater and form 2008 she is also a professor at the National academy. Since than she is active as an actress and voice teacher/coach.
