Josh is a BAFTA nominated filmmaker and writer. At 19 he was the first winner of the BBC Blast Drama award for his short Possession (2007), which led to mentorship from BBC Drama and the development of Shadow Observers (2008), a short exploring a grieving man's descent into paranoia and surveillance, as he becomes obsessed with finding the gang who killed his brother. Since then Josh's films have been broadcast on television and won awards in film festivals around the world. Whilst rooted in reality, his work often takes on dreamlike undertones as characters are driven to extremes and their perspective of the world is transformed by trauma or obsession.
