Born in Boston, Massachusetts, Charly Emery has always possessed a passion for the arts in addition to an infinite curiosity for problem solving and maximizing life. Charly was immersed in music through her mother, Nikki Steinborn and father, Andrew Steinborn, a musician who once taught at Berklee College of Music in Boston. She also loved to dance and began studying various forms of dance at a very early age, which helped her place in a Junior Miss Pageant during her senior year. Charly was accepted early decision to attend Clark University where sadly, her study of philosophy and economics was interrupted by an assault she endured one evening close to campus during her sophomore year. It was Charly's bout with repressing trauma and subsequently using her own instincts to transform her life that led to her uniquely result oriented expertise as a personal strategist and interpersonal consultant. Compelled to indulge her creative side, Charly's artistic enthusiasm evolved into modeling, public speaking and eventually acting. She's appeared in national commercials, print ads, fitness DVDs as well as prime-time TV shows. Charly first hit prime-time TV with appearances on Moonlight and Heroes. Then just as her acting career began to unfold Charly authored her first book; a wildly popular dating handbook for women entitled "Thank Goodness You Dumped His Ass." This led her career in whole new direction with personal appearances as a thought leader and TV personality. Then came an exciting breakthrough that showcased Charly's strategic coaching on camera with a guest appearance on E! network's reality show, Opening Act.
