Charismatic, ambitious and hardworking are synonymous with Shanté Paige. Since graduating from Howard University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Management and minor in Pre-Law, Shanté Paige has been an active member of the entertainment industry and a member of the PGA. Her experience encompasses a wide range of music and entertainment accomplishments. As Vice-President of A&R for the Universal/Motown Records Group, she was responsible for controlling multi-million dollar budgets. Additionally, she was Executive Producer and handled the production of Hip Hop and R&B headliners such as 702, Dave Hollister, KEM, Chico Debarge, India Arie, Erykah Badu, Remy Shand, Cash Money Millionaires, Pastor Troy, Lil Corey, The Temptations, and Joe. During her tenure at Motown, these artists sold more than 65 million albums collectively worldwide, putting Motown in the black after a decade of losses. Although quite an accomplishment, Shanté's climb up the music ladder started during her college days, where she promoted some of the biggest celebrity-driven events and managed an R&B group, Quattro, who boasted heartthrob actor, Michael Ealy, as a member. Upon graduating, Shanté moved to New York City where she continued building a name for herself hosting celebrity studded events, which helped landing her a job as A&R Coordinator for Jive Records. She later accepted an esteemed position as Director of Artist Development for Volcano/Global Soul. During this time she utilized her vast industry experience and helped launch Noontime Music, a production company which to-date has had many number one hits by artists such as Aaliyah, Usher, Toni Braxton, Ginuwine, Mariah Carey, Cash Money, Mary J. Blige, Joe, Ciara, Destiny's Child and a host of others. In addition, she consulted for Net2, an influential music marketing and urban event planning company. Shanté's steady stream of accomplishments caught the attention of Kedar Massenburg, CEO of Kedar Entertainment and President of Universal/Motown Records Group. He immediately hired her as Director of A&R for Kedar Entertainment and during her six-year tenure she would eventually take on the title of Vice President of A&R for the Universal/Motown Records Group. Shanté eventually left Universal/Motown to start Paige Inc., a consulting firm specializing in an array of clients from music to media and sports entertainment. Paige has consulted for clients such as Noontime Music Publishing (producers Bryan Michael-Cox and Jazzy Pha) and Mauldin Brand Agency (Scream Tour, Bow Wow, and Wyclef Jean). Paige was awarded the 2010 Census Campaign where she produced webisodes featuring Ludacris to promote census participation while bridging celebrities like Patti Labelle, Lance Armstrong, Kimora Lee Simmons and Russell Simmons with NUVO sparkling vodka. To add to her long list of accomplishments, Shanté was the Associate Producer of Across the Hall, a short film, which debuted on Elite Samsung phones, featuring Adrian Grenier, the leading character in HBO's hit show, Entourage. She also worked on several TV projects for TNT, Peachtree TV, TBS, BET, Centric, Aspire, MyATL, WXIA, UMC, NBA TV, Revolt and ESPN. In her spare time, Shante' likes to speak at colleges, high schools and youth organizations. She is committed to helping the next generation and empowers young people. Her track record proves that she is a dynamic content provider and powerful writer who is energetic, effective and highly efficient and it's only the beginning.
