Talia Rothenberg is a Jewish, Latinx writer born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico. A 2010 U.S. Presidential Scholar, she was selected by the Department of Education as 1 of 161 of the nation's most distinguished high school seniors. Upon graduating from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, she premiered her first short, Bad Habits, at the 2014 Cannes Short Film Corner. Her digital series MRS. which she co-created, produced, and starred in streamed via Facebook to over 125K views. Her writing credits include the upcoming Netflix Spanish language series, Rebelde (2019) and Nickelodeon's Santiago of the Seas (2021). Her original pilot, Flaca, is being developed at Eugenio Derbez's 3Pas Studio - where she is also working on the feature film adaptation of Lilliam Rivera's YA novel, Never Look Back.
