Leonor only gained access to the film industry upon her marriage to Teody Carmona who was an Art Director at the LVN Studios in the Philippines. They were given a special privilege to live inside the studios compound in order for her husband to have easy accessibility to the movie sets. Even without prior acting experience, her ability to perform as an actress in bit roles made an outstanding impression among movie directors that led to being given more minor principal roles in the process. Her acting endeavors ended when LVN Studios decided to cease movie productions due to labor union conflict. She and her husband decided to venture into the booming woodcraft industry. She became the principal key that underlaid the success of their new business. She never went back to acting again. She passed away in 1994 at the age of 76. She was blessed with eight children.
