A graduate of the UCLA School of Film and Television, Ryan Darst is a filmmaker with over 20 years experience writing, directing, producing, shooting and editing countless projects. Winner of the Alan S. Jacobsen Award for outstanding achievement in Directing and the Peter Stark Memorial Scholarship, Ryan has created several award-winning films, such as Long Story Short (SCVFF Independent Spirit Award), Dreamworld (WSIFF Best Director, AUFF Audience Award, PMFF Best Picture) and Wildlife (Cannes Court Métrage, Utah Short of the Year). Recent credits include the documentary Cancer? Seriously?, Gosling Stole My Best Friend for TAG Channel and The Caper Kind, an action-comedy starring Whit Hertford, Jon Heder & Kyle Mooney. Ryan is directing the new-dad comedy series Strollers and in development on his third feature film.
