Dave Malkoff is a national correspondent for The Weather Channel who frequently appears on NBC's Today Show, MSNBC and local NBC stations across the country. Previously, Malkoff worked as a science & technology reporter for KCBS-TV / KCAL-TV in Los Angeles. In 2010, Dave covered the end of the Operation Iraqi Freedom. He produced & anchored an Emmy Award Winning documentary & reported live from 20 locations around Iraq for KTLA-TV. For three years, Malkoff covered science and technology for WFOR-TV in Miami. While in South Florida, he reported through 11 tropical storms and hurricanes, including Hurricane Katrina. Dave Malkoff's career in television news spans nearly 20 years, and has taken him from newsrooms in his hometown of Youngstown, OH to Columbus, Champaign, IL; Las Vegas & San Francisco.
