Born and raised in The Bronx, the youngest of five and of Puerto Rican descent, Lloyd DeLeon knew early on that acting would be his path of passion. Always staying for "The End" credits, Lloyd DeLeon knew that acting was in his future but had no idea how to break into the craft. Determined, he found the source that would begin his journey....a popular N.Y. trade paper for actors. A beginning. A festival for actors, info booths, workshops and an introduction to what would be his first actor training and on-camera acting coaches. The networking began. Extra work was short lived and just a taste. Moving on. Indie films, speaking roles, ACTING! The dream is now a reality. Finding himself working side by side with talents such as Liam Aiken, Renoly Santiago, Adam Rodriguez (l), Mel Jackson (l), Luis Jimenez (l), Ramon Rodriguez (ll), Lloyd DeLeon knew further training was needed to keep up and step up. With coaches, private training, producing an indie feature, directing a short, were some of the craft tools used to keep sharp and edgy and ready for that next role that will distinguish him A-list ready.
