Andrea Olabarría

Hailing from Spain, Andrea Olabarría is a film graduate from Miami-Dade College in Florida. At twenty-seven years old, this writer-director already completed her first Feature Film. Andrea has also directed numerous short films, including the award-winning student film "Torn" which won third place at the 2003 Palm Beach International Film Festival, and the acclaimed "The Sinner" which has been viewed over 199,000 times on Steven Spielberg's On the Lot website in 2007. Moving from shorts to features in 2006 she wrote a feature script adapted from her short film Torn which her agent is currently shopping to producers and "Rough Winds" in 2007. "Rough Winds" the screenplay is now past to Semi-finals in the Fade in Awards. Andrea is currently completed production on her first feature-length film, the drama Rough Winds, which was shot beautifully on HD. Rough Winds is scheduled to be released late 2009.
