Jason Harley grew up in Montreal. In his early 20s, he studied Method acting at Josa Maule's Montreal School of Performing Arts under Dale Hayes. He starred in a number of theatrical productions and made his on-screen debut on the sitcom Student Bodies (1997) as one of the "Hottest Guys in Edison High" pin-up calendar boys in the episode The Boys of Edison (1998). Around the same time, Jason was admitted to law school at Queen's University and focused on his legal education and law career. Many years later, he continues to be a successful litigation lawyer in Ontario, Canada where he resides with his wife Rebecca and their two daughters Madison and Ashley. After a lengthy hiatus, Jason realized he had never shaken the acting bug that had bitten him in his youth and decided to pursue his passion once again. Since returning to acting, Jason has starred in the films Too Soon (2020), A Double-Edged Sword, Suburban Intrigue (2019) and others. Jason plays the role of Warren Parrish, a leader in the early Latter Day Saint movement, in the upcoming feature film Witnesses (2021), directed by Mark Goodman, due in theaters in summer 2021. Jason is also passionate about writing. His 2020 short script "Pandora's Adversaries" and feature script "Andropause" have been very well received by a number of screenplay competitions. Among several awards, Jason won the Prestige award for Best Short Script and the Merit award for Best Screenwriter in the January 2021 Vegas Movie Awards. Jason continuously hones his acting craft, studying under Mike Migliara, founder of Your Casting Academy of Film & Performing Arts. Jason has also taken workshops taught by Ron Leach, Paul Weber, Patrick Baca and others.
