Helen is a British actor, writer and voice artist who is known for Downton Abbey creator Julian Fellowes' feature film FROM TIME TO TIME, feature films LIBERTÉ: A CALL TO SPY (Edinburgh International FF), JELLYFISH (Tribeca FF), VHYES (Fantastic Fest FF), 86 MELROSE AVENUE (Released 2020), HI LO JOE (Dinard FF), BBC/HBO's spy TV drama HUNTED alongside Stephen Dillane and several award-winning short films including the Cannes FF twice-nominated SAFARI for which Helen won a Best Actress award playing the leading role of an American Head Teacher in the midst of a high school shooting. In terms of writing/performing, Helen has developed her material with BBC Comedy, performed live character-based comedy, has written and performed in the award-winning satirical comedy show NEWS REVUE (London), performed her sketches at the prestigious Canal Café Theatre (London) and was a jury member at the BAFTA Comedy Awards in 2016 alongside some of England's best loved comedic talent. Her bitingly satirical comedy short WHORE: TABLE #6 was an official selection at the Oscar Qualifying Hollyshorts FF 2019, HBO Women In Comedy FF, Dances With Films FF, LA Femme International FF in LA and Mammoth International FF 2020. Having just written and performed her next short WASTED SEED alongside Bambadjan Bamba (NBC's THE GOOD PLACE. BOSCH), she hopes to hit the film festival circuit in 2020 - 2021 with a brave new piece that explores the humour, absurdity and trauma of infertility.
