Shannon Riddick was born on May 15, 1994 in Detroit, Michigan. He has been interested in film and acting all his life. Ever since he was a little boy he would make countless stories by himself of anything he could think of. He would spend hours in his room writing, acting out, and directing his own movies and plays. Once they were perfect, he would perform and show his creation to anyone willing to see. He has always been creative and imaginative person. After a while, he and his family moved from the urban Detroit to the suburbs. With the move, Shannon was eager to start acting again. He found a local recreation center where he performed "The Woman of Oz." He soon signed up for Drama Class in his second year at his high school. From then, his career from that point sky-rocketed. He began applying to agencies and going to auditions for film and stage productions all across Michigan. In Summer 2008, he landed a stage production as a big eared Elf and a role of the younger main character in an independent film called "Kidneys." On Christmas Eve of 2008, Shannon released his first EP, Christmas Breakdown which he produced and recorded the project by himself in only a week. In 2009, He already has four upcoming films stated to premiere including a TV movie with Rosie O'Donnell and Ruby Dee named "America." Another indie film, "The Columbia Project" he filmed in January, is set to premiere later this summer. He is working with other artists and on his upcoming album S.T.A.T.I.C., in the studio. His debut album is expected to release in August. He is also working on designs for his clothing line, Peanut Butter and J's, set to premiere in 2010 which includes urban t-shirts and hoodies inspired by Japanese artist Takashi Murakami.
