Yvonne was born in Zhengzhou, China, and raised in China until she was two years old. She then moved to Houston, Texas with her mother, that's when it all began. As soon as she could walk, she loved dancing and making people laugh. When she was three years old, she joined a top dance school. She learn ballet, Jazz, modern, tap, hip-hop, and traditional Chinese. Every year her dance school would hold a big performance at Wortham Theater in Houston, Yvonne was always involved. She has been on stage since she was three, so she has no clue what stage fright is. When asked in 1st grade what she wanted to be when she grows up, she answered "A Star". In 2002, Yvonne enter her first talent show, and won first place for most photogenic, and first place for best smile. She was also picked up by an agent at that same talent show. Since then she has been trained in Cold reading, and camera techniques, most recently she attended an improve class in Beijing, China. In 2006, Yvonne and her mother moved to Los Angeles. Since then, she has appeared in several independent and feature films. Most notably the feature film Still the Drums. Also commercials for the 2008 Olympic games, Verizon, Ultimate Band for Wii Video, Pass the Milk, Disney, and others. She has been doing print work since the age of five, and has appeared in many advertisements and magazines, as well as posters. She has also participated in theater since moving to Los Angeles, doing performances at the Alex Theater, as well as shows at the Downtown Theater in Chinatown, and others. In 2007, and 2008 she was part of the singing and dancing girl's group, who represented the Honolulu Marathon, and the Los Angeles Marathon. In January of 2010, she appeared in two episodes of Journey to the West, the most popular television show in China. The episodes will air on Chinese TV in 2011.
