Alexandra Kelly was born Alexandra Kelly Hansler on November 15th 1985 in Portsmouth, South of England. Since the age of 11 she has been on the stage, starting with numerous school productions. She joined Stagecoach Theatre Arts School which helped her develop her skills. During her time at the School she was picked to attend and perform with Sir Cliff Richard and 80's pop group Boney M at the Royal Albert Hall for a Concert for Aids in Africa. In 2004 she auditioned for a production of The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe at her local Theatre in Portsmouth. During her time at Groundlings she went on to perform numerous plays and also play the courtesan Vibrata in the professional open air theatre tour of 'A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum' in 2005 That same year she got her first lead in the short film 'Making A Living' from director Richard Mundy. She was then asked back for a cameo role in his third film 'Machines'. Since then Alexandra has been cast in many films over the last few years, she played the character of 'Helen' in the dark gritty drama 'Rose' which was premiered at the 2008 Cannes Film Festival. Alexandra has teamed up again with 'The Room' director Peter Goddard to play lead character 'Abigail Hartford' in feature film 'Any Minute Now' which also stars Braveheart's very own young murron Mhairi Calvey and Grange Hill's Lee MacDonald. As well as acting Alexandra is a qualified Martial Artist and International Instructor for 'Choi Kwang Do' she achieved her 2nd Dan Black Belt and is heading for her 3rd Dan Black Belt in 2016.
