Gregory John Puciato was born on March 27th, 1980 in Baltimore, Maryland. He joined the band The Dillinger Escape Plan at 21 years old, and went on to write and record five extremely acclaimed and genre-bending albums with them, becoming one of the underground music world's most acclaimed talents as well as one of it's most explosive performers in the process. The Dillinger Escape Plan disbanded at the height of their popularity in 2017. In 2004 he provided vocals for Error, whose members included Brett Gurewitz of Epitaph Records and Bad Religion fame, and Atticus Ross, who would later go on to both join Nine Inch Nails and compose multiple award winning film scores with Trent Reznor. Puciato is also a founding member of another band, The Black Queen, which has released two full length albums since 2016 to critical acclaim and extreme cult fandom, with all physical copies of those releases rapidly and completely selling out. He has produced and either directed or co-directed most of their music videos, along with shooting and editing. He is also a member of the rock/metal "supergroup" Killer Be Killed, alongside metal legend Max Cavalera and Troy Sanders of the Grammy-winning rock band Mastodon. He releases a book of poetry and photography, entitled Separate The Dawn, on February 12th 2019. All physical copies also quickly sold out. The Black Queen albums, as well as Separate The Dawn, are released on the label/publishing group Federal Prisoner, of which Puciato is a founder and co-owner.
