Born, Robert Joseph Rickert Jr. in Baltimore, Maryland. Known as Bobby to family and friends, he was introduced to video production early in life when he filmed, edited and performed in skateboard videos. Throughout his high school years he continued to hone his skills and expanded his interest in film making by writing and producing skits and short films. Robert was accepted into Stevenson University's Film, Video, and Theatre program where he continued to work both in front and behind the camera. It was during his college years that Robert recognized he had a special attraction to performing on camera. Before long, Acting was all he wanted to do. Early in his career, not willing to relinquish the Lead role he was offered, was so committed the he was the only exception to the hiring, firing or resignation of 3 full casts and crews before filming was completed on the doomed project. On another project, he sustained a painfully broken hand during a failed skateboarding stunt, performed the entire physically demanding role in a flimsy wrist brace. His commitment to and passion for acting continues to flourish with every new role.
