Jeremy Kolosine is an electronic artist/composer born in Hackney, London. In the 1980's he performed and recorded and released music and video in Miami, Florida with the group Futurisk. In 1990's he moved to the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia and released alternative and ambient music including soundtracks with the group Shakespace and under the pseudonym Ksine. Since 2003 he has released music under the name Receptors and 8-Bit Operators on the Receptors Music and Astralwerks / EMI record labels. Since 2005 he has performed live at NYC's Blip Festival, CMJ and Bent Festivals, as well as having showcased at Austin, Texas' SXSW Festival. In 2008 he performed at the Iceland Airwaves Fest, and in 2009 joined the Blip Fest Europe/ 8bitpeoples tour of Denmark and Poland (Era New Horizon Film Festival.)
